American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in an actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. Also, she played an important role in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is a voice actor on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mother moved to California. There, they lived for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
