Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. She was involved in acting and directing in more than 20 musicals. The productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she enrolled in improvisation classes and was an Theatre West company member. The combination of her unique voice and her petite stature made it possible for Kelly to develop many different characters. Her collaboration alongside Naomi Watts as Samara the villain on The Ring 2 is well known, however she's also better recognized for playing the lively receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a series regular on TV The Land sitcom The Exes from 2011 to 2015. The show featured Kelly as the paralegal day and party hopper by night. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. Her fame is based on her soprano vocals in many animated shows. These include Doctor McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recent roles include the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life that's quite quiet with two children younger than five years old. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant at various school events.
