Ashley Graham was born on November 22, 1989 in Lincoln Nebraska. Ashley Graham was bullied regularly at school for her big thighs. She grew up with two sisters. Graham was diagnosed as having attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder shortly after graduating from elementary school. Although she had to face several obstacles, one of which was A.D.H.D. during her teens, Graham was able to triumph over them. Graham's talent was discovered at 12 by an agent when she was out going shopping in Nebraska. In 2005, before graduating Lincoln Southwest High School she was featured in a variety of magazines as well as billboards. In the early days of her modeling career, she faced difficulties getting jobs due to the fact that her physique was quite unique. Graham had offers to model as a catalog lady for several years, but was told she wouldn't get past straightforward tasks. She was fortunate to prove sessions casters wrong, and her career grew rapidly. In 2007, she had an interview with Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine, which gave her one of her first major breaks. Graham then made an appearance in Glamour magazine's 2009 edition of "These Bodies Look Beautiful at All Sizes". In 2009, she was back in the news, Graham starred in a controversial Lane Bryant ad that was eventually banned in a number of countries; the commercial had received over 800,000 views by the time it was pulled from YouTube. She also appeared as a guest on "The Tonight Show" together with Jay Leno to address the topic when it spiraled into a tizzy. Graham became a well-known Plus-sized model. Grande began singing and performing as a teenager. In 2008, the actress got a part on The Broadway show 13 which she then began appearing on TV in smaller roles. She got her first big break in 2010 by appearing in Nickelodeon's television show Victorious. Cat Valentine is a teenager attending a performance school. Sam & Cat was the spin-off from her sitcom which was aired in 2013, after it was cancelled.
