Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out as an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after winning a silver and bronze medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011, and the 2016 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She won the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight in 2012 as well as the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Kskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won unanimously. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA profession in the year 2002 after an impressive win against Anara Baanova at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won by TKO at the end of round 2. She was able to take home two subsequent bouts, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. It gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko was absent from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimously-decided match before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed after this win. Antonina made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight following her first bout by a unanimity. Antonina recovered from the loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked down by a TKO in round two to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
