Shevchenko was absent from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimously-decided match before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed after this win. Antonina made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight following her first bout by a unanimity. Antonina recovered from the loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked down by a TKO in round two to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
